Self-Led or Instructor-Led Activities

Your Choice, Your Experience

At The Outdoor Ed School, we know that every group has different needs, so we offer both self-led and instructor-led options for your outdoor learning activities in Hampshire.

Self-Led Events

Our self-led events are perfect for schools and groups who want flexibility and hands-on involvement. We'll set up a selection of low-risk, high-fun activity stations, such as:

  • Pioneering
  • Club Throwing
  • Zorb Football
  • Sucker Archery
  • Team Challenges
  • Slingshots
  • School Camps

Each station is equipped with a clear, easy-to-follow briefing card, so teachers and group leaders can guide their students at their own pace and tailor the experience to suit the group. An experienced instructor will remain onsite throughout your event for support, supervision, and guidance, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely.

Instructor-Led Events

For higher-risk or more specialised activities, choose our instructor-led option. All selected activities are delivered and supervised by our fully trained, DBS-checked instructors, letting you relax and enjoy the day. Instructor-led activities include:

  • Archery
  • Axe Throwing
  • Laser Tag
  • Bushcraft

  • Virtual Reality (VR)
  • Paddleboarding
  • Kayaking
  • Canoeing

While our instructors manage the activity setup, safety, and facilitation, teachers retain responsibility for the pastoral care and general wellbeing of their group throughout the day.
