At The Outdoor Ed School, we run small-group, skills-building outdoor sessions designed specifically for home-educated young people. Each session combines teamwork, communication, and new challenges with fresh air and real-world adventure.

Social Skills & Confidence Building
Your child will join a small, friendly group of other home-educated students. We build connection through team challenges, shared goals, and outdoor play that naturally boosts communication skills and confidence.
Hands-On Outdoor Learning
Each week includes a fun, safe, and exciting mix of activities such as:

Safe, Structured, Supportive
All sessions are led by experienced outdoor instructors who specialise in working with home-educated children, including those who may be anxious, shy, or new to group activities.
Session Times
Sessions run every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at our outdoor activity woodland.
Choose from:

You can book a one-off session, a half-term block, or a full-term block depending on what works best for your child.

The instructor was friendly, enthusiastic, and connected brilliantly with the children, which made a real difference.
